HEAT EXCHANGERS

Here are very popular exchangers with helical tubes. Due to compactness and design, these heat exchangers are used at the municipal heating systems, but also at the other applications of liquid-liquid or vapor –liquid. Standard type HTH (Helical Tube Heat exchanger) are made of stainless steel grade WNr.1.4541 - stabilized by titanium. Tubes are with heat treatment called bright annealing, which ensures full anti-corrosion limits of this type of material and fully meets the demands of this branch. For higher demands of corrosion resistance can also select WNr.1.4404 steel (AISI 316L).

A special type of heat exchanger for gas -liquid applications, used as a gas cooler, reheater or economizer. Using low pressure gas (or air) as a working fluid, usally requires a low pressure drop . The special design of the helical tube-bundle allows of MDS type integrated directly into the pipeline . Pitch in the longitudinal direction is optimized in order to maintain a low pressure drop in shell-side. Along with a cyclone-separator or demister can be used for dehumidifying the gas. The arrangement with fully enclosed shell will meet the demands of installation low-pressure steam systems.
